“A community campaign to prevent the misuse and abuse of prescription medication”

The "Let's Make a Difference/Hagamos la Diferencia" campaign is a community-level prevention initiative that focuses on promoting key Safe Medication Practices that community members can implement within their homes to help reduce misuse and abuse of over the counter and prescription medication. The campaign works with pharmacists, community organizations, and other partners to communicate the importance of reducing home access to prescription medications/opioids via Safe Storage and Safe Disposal practices, while also reducing the number of individuals who report sharing their medications.
